What is ISGA?

The In School Golf Association utilizes Virtual Turf technology to develop the first real-golf experience for students at their schools that can be integrated into any middle school or high school physical education program.

The ISGA In-School program provides schools with a multi-station, multi-media curriculum that can be taught by the regular PE teachers as part of the core physical education program during regular school hours. The ISGA introduces students to the game’s swing mechanics, rules, etiquette, great players, and great moments through a stimulating and entertaining experience that is designed to attract young people to this great all-inclusive life sport.

Teachers, parents, and students are provided instruction, assessments, and resources by the ISGA to not only make the in-school program a success, but to provide the groundwork and guidance for young people to get out to the local golf facilities and further develop their relationship with the game.

The ISGA is striving to respond to the urgent need to attract all young people, without regard to previous athletic experience or ability, gender, or physique to an active outdoor sport each and every one of them can enjoy for life. By providing the in-school and online community to bring together parents, teachers, students, golf facilities, and golf professionals, the ISGA is working to make golf a mainstream PE sport, and thus help address this national activity crisis.
